So Miss has lost every road game and a couple home games. I think we win this one.
72-64. It's good to be home.
While I have occasionally scratched my head at Terry's substitutions, for the most part they have made sense. Kenton Paulino's substitutions were ridiculous.
Our lineup should be Williams, Efe, Archie, Edwards, and Hawkins.
First big of the bench is Tarke, then Verhoeven, then Vila
First guard off the bench is Stroud then Boum.
As far as I am concerned Boum has played his way onto the bench and until he can show that he can put in quality time during his minutes he stays there.
Stroud and Tarke have contributed with their time on the court. Sure they turn it over but so do the starters. Maybe given time they will clean it up. The starters have not proven they can.
We only have one guard shooting > 33% on 3s.
I hate to say this but I am really beginning to be concerned that Terry is Rabadeaux 2.0. I see no evidence of an offensive game plan, just offensive sets. Every coach has a couple plays he has his team run. The good ones have some kind of plan for the game. It looks to me like it is turning into street ball. In some ways it reminds me of Tarkanian, who could beat you if his players were dominatingly better, but he basically tossed the ball out on the court and said go get 'em and that was the extent of his coaching. A talented street ball team will lose to a less talented disciplined team almost every time until the disparity of talent is too great. I feel like that's where we are. No one seems to know what in the hell they are trying to accomplish, just running the offensive set and hope someone takes it one on one and scores. They seem to want to play as a team, hence the over-passing, but no one is telling them how or what to do to achieve that.
We have all season and I may take it all back if the ship gets righted by the end of the season, but I'm not seeing it right now. At the moment I think Senter is 0-2 on his big hires.
