  • So, I was out of town during the game on Saturday and I was in the airport desperate to find any write ups on the new kids and how they faired
against the returning crew. I obviously loved reading how Wade stole the show, Smith had great post moves, & how Osborne looked great as well.
Then someone wrote about a kid that no one had heard about that played well and showed up from no where. That kids name was Deshaun Highler.
The kid is out of Riverside CA and played at a prep school last year.

Then I looked up the kid on YouTube and wow did this kid impress me. He is not a true PG, because the kid likes to score. As the article states, the kid
got his high school team to the regional final. So, we have two impressive Walk On's with Trey Wade and Deshaun Highler. (Unless Wade was changed
    to a schollied player)
Anyway, I look forward to seeing this kid develop and I hope CTF gets that UTEP website updated with this kid on the Roster with a bio.
