UTEP is getting better

    •  To my eye it looks like the players are responding to the coaches. The roster is still way too thin, so I don't know when they'll win.

     Also, this is one of the best defenses I've ever seen at UTEP. No, really. The only thing they lack is the ability to cause turnovers. Last year they were pretty good as well. Too bad the offense (especially last year) was historically bad.

    • IDO think there has been improvement.  It also helps when you air out the ball a little more.  When he comes back I'm not sure Locksley can throw the ball like Metz (turnovers or not).

    So are we still I-10 El Paso Intercepted University 0?

    We have to realize that No. Tex isn't that bad and for us to even have had a chance to win is showing us that the team is getting better. As SOON as we can get a bonafide D1 QB then things will improve and like I've said neither Metz or Locksley will get us to the promised land of more wins than losses.
