I kinda miss the old coot.   He was like the crazy guy downtown that yells random incomprehensible things to you as you're walking by.  And a little like the kooky Walter Brennan characters in John Wayne and Humphrey Bogart movies.  If everyone was reasonable and talked in quiet voices the world would be a much less interesting place.  One of the best features of freedom of speech is that it makes it so much easier to spot the lunatics.  And a lot of the lunatics are highly intelligent, but they're still lunatics.

Little story about the Rabbit.
I won't say his name, but he lives in Mexico and comes back to El Paso once a year to keep his citizenship. The guy is a master on Shakespeare and even his close friends think he is a brilliant asshole. And yes, we are all pig fuckers.
One of his few friends is a very good buddy of mine and he says he is great in small doses. After an hour or 2, your head starts to hurt. One can only take so much negative demeanored brilliance. He has an unpublished book out and I heard it is pretty good.
