Freaking Great "The Pool Table Guy" Is Our HC!

    I heard about this back in the day...

    Dana Dimel was found fucking a bar waitress on top of a pool table after hours at a Laramie bar just a few weeks prior to his first game as head coach (@ Ohio State in 1997).
     His wife and son (2-3 year old I believe) were still in Manhatten, Kansas trying to get their house there sold to head over to Laramie.

    BTW, after his wife divorced him, he later married that very same waitress. Saw a picture of her in the 1999 UW media guide. NOT impressed at all.

    • I do like that Dimel has spent much time coaching under Bill Snyder, who has done a great job for years at a school that is also geographically, talent-challenged. Whether that translates, we'll see....I hope so. But, not the splash I hoped for... more like the thud I expected.
