  • We all knew about the mid-week games coming in 2023 due to the new CUSA media deal. Here is the UTEP schedule and my only complaint is the timing of the NMSU game. Should be at the end of the season for a rivalry week now that its a conference game.

    Sep. 9.  @ Northwestern
    Sep. 16  @ Arizona

    Sep 29 fri La Tech
    Oct  11 wed @ FIU
    Oct. 18 wed  NMSU
    Oct  25 wed @ SHSU
    Nov  4.  WKU
    Nov. 18.@ MTSU

  • This is an interesting schedule, and I think ought to make this a make or break season for Dimel.  On paper every one of these games is winnable.  Not saying we should be favorites, but every one is winnable.

We could beat a Big 10 and a PAC team on the road.   And we could lose to teams moving up to D1 for the first time.  We could go 12-0 or 0-12.  I have no freaking idea what to expect.  Especially with such an erratic play caller at the helm.

Have to agree. We saw this past season that the talent is there for winning. Looking at the results from 2022 there were at least 5 games where the 2nd half looked like the Miners didn't return from the locker room. Good adjustments by the opposition but none by UTEP.

  • Dimel's gotta go, now today but yesterday. I has my no-confidence vote. Too bad we can't impeach.
