  • Not good, I had wondered at times over the years if the Athletic Dept kept in contact with graduates. I must admit it is a 2 way street, but when you are a special athlete you get busy with all the business a professional career brings, so I would hope the Athletic Dept has emails, addresses, points of contact so as to keep these "special alumni" in the know.

  • Yeah I agree.  The athletic department should always strive to maintain contact with its former athletes, especially those that have gone on to play professionally.  These players that have made it to the next level can undoubtedly be a good source of recognition for the school.  The more professional players from UTEP that support the school and act as ambassadors for it, the better it is for recruiting and bringing awareness to these younger guys about the UTEP brand.
