  • Starting it now because I wanted to throw this out there for fun:

Over/under on backdoor cut slam dunks by Germany?
Over/under on 3s taken by Boum?
    Free throws taken by Boum?
    Leading rebounder?
Point totals by players scoring 8 or more?

  • Defense is not playing like they normally do. No rhythm on O. Hopefully 2nd half changes. Golding is very animated & while he is serious, it is comical to me.

  • I thought that the first half Golding told them to get into the paint instead of jacking up shots. They just couldn?t hit the open shots.

  • No one wanted to try shots from the paint. Bunch of chicken shits. When's the last time you heard that phrase?

  • Teicher kept talking like the guards getting beat off the dribble was new this game.  But it happens a LOT.   That?s what leads to so many back door cuts.

Same topic, gotta turn the guards pushing the ball up.  Can?t let them approach the lane with momentum

LOVED Onyema running over Germany by the way.  May nickname him Patton.

TV gotta learn from him how to go up strong and hard

  • So, I stayed through the whole game. The 1st half was an absolute shit show. No one wanted the ball and defense was horrible. 2nd half looked better (not great). D improved & finding the open man did wonders.

Golding- was very frustrated, but got his team to pull out a win. I think he was frustrated  because no one wanted to shoot within 6' of the rim. There is a confidence issue among the big men.
JB- not really on his game, but was good enough.
Giffa- horrible. He is no D1 player.
Clardy- pushed all he could, but alas, is also no D1 player.
Boum- did his job, but was a bit off.
Saterfield- horrible 1st half, but hit his shots in the 2nd. Needs to keep defending & shooting.
Agnew- VERY rusty. Has no shittin' business shooting. Drove once & was stuffed. Need his defense.
White- did his best defending, but nothing on O. He also is no D1 player.
Hollins- had auch better day today. Defensed, rebounded, & had some key jumpers. His best game yet.
Sibley- kid is afraid to shoot when under the basket. Subpar game.
Kalu- saw little time & had a 2 reb.
Onyema- little time & had 1 reb.
Verho- did OK, but missed 2 wide open dunks. Who does that? Needs to attack more.

This game was not pretty, but they found a way to win.
