    • welp, ya made me curious enough to look.  Grand Canyon beat them pretty bad in the WAC championship game and got the bid.

    • On a related subject, Sam Houston State joins the WAC next year.  One of their ?selling points? for making the move was being able to play NMSU.  Go figure.

    • NMSU has been much more successful than us in b-ball over the last decade and not too much worse in football.

    Maybe it's just that Enemas U. is the closest SHS has to playing against a winning team. Maybe they play baseball too? Us, not so much.
