  • Starting Monday, I will get to tele-commute for the next dew weeks. The ol' lady is happy.

I am happy to hear this, Z.  At my university, staff have been alternating coming in to work and then working from home.  I suspect we will shut down completely very soon.

Amazingly, there have been students on campus.  We?ve had math majors studying/working near the math offices this week.  (Well, at least until Wednesday - the last time I?ve been on campus.)

  • Update,

Campus closed except for essential services, and I am not essential. Yet, if i want to get paid, I have to work from home, or take the remainder of my sick/vacay leave. I will work form home.

2 UTEP employees returning from a trip on March 12 (the end of the CUSA Tourney) tested positive for the Covid-19.  One had limited movement in the Durham and Foster Stevens Centers. Hmmmm..... Which Athletics guy got it? Anybody know?

  • Glad you are able to work from home.  Save the vacation days.  A vacation when this is over will be nice.
