That is strange, because I read earlier today that he was ok and would be joining the team in Florida. I hope he recovers quickly. I once had a girlfriend who carried medicine with her at all times in case she was stung by a bee. It gave her a half an hour to get to a hospital. It was strange, because she seemed to attract bees!
I just found this;
January 2, 2020, 8:48 PM
"MIAMI -- UTEP basketball coach Rodney Terry is in critical condition in a Miami hospital, school officials said Thursday.
Terry is stable and “is expected to make a full recovery,” the school said. There is no timetable for his return to the bench."
and this;
"Terry has reportedly been hospitalized for 24 hours and was initially said to be recovering and nearing release according to program officials. An official has since told Parker that Terry has been listed as critical by the hospital.
Assistant coach Kenton Paulino has taken Terry’s place in his absence.
“Coach Terry wanted to be here, and he's doing much, much better," Paulino said, according to UTEP’s site. "[The hospital] wanted to hold him for a certain period of time and they wouldn't let him go. But he's ready to get back to work."
