I stayed up to watch the entire game. Ball St lost their big player early. That was the sloppyest game we have played & managed to win. 20+ turn overs probably turned Terry's stomach. I will say, there was some positive. Vila didnt see the floor, but Tarke & Archie played tons of minutes and really showed athleticism. They were probably the sloppier players, but they both did pretty good on D, hustled on O & actually contributed on scoring.
Williams- saw a little less time & didnt score as much, but was still dominant.
Odigie- stepped up on O. He still needs work on D.
Verhoeven- didnt play much & struggled a little. He did have a 3pt play the old fashioned way.
Tarke- played sloppy, but hustled, played hard D, & scored a fee times. Much better than Vila.
Archie- was also sloppy, but made up for it with intensity, D, & made tough points.
Stroud- played like a minute & was lost.
Hawkins- didnt do too well & may have got a concussion.
Lathon- helped with scoring the 1st half, but was pulled for half the 2nd.
Boum- was his usual quick self, but wasn't his usual scoring self.
The team won this with hustle & grit. Also, Terry allowing his bench to play & smart foul towards the end was good. Once again, take away the turn overs & we kill this team.
Finally, a road win. Let's see if we can do the same against Boise St.
