  • Not surprised. Liked both kids and sorry it didn't work out. Best of luck to them both.

  • Yup. We've been on this for the last month. I'm just surprised it happened so fast. Here are guards that are chomping @ the bit to take their place :
    PG Zarzuela 6'3"
    PG Lathon 6'4"
    PG Boum 6'3"
    SG Stroud 6'5"
    SG Hawkins 6'4"
    SG Wenzel 6'5"
    G/F Archie 6'6"
    G/F Tarke 6'6"

I'm not sure if you all noticed the difference, but no schollied player on the team is shorter than 6'3". I love it.

  • In addition to the deep guard threat we have listed above for next year, we have a few big men waiting to produce.
6'11" Vila- A shooter with good footwork
6'11" Ezeagu- Needs fine tuning & would benefit at red shirting. Still very athletic
6'9" Odigie- Needs to learn to jump. Other than that, he is a monster
6'9" Verhoeven- I hear he's a good defender but still working on post moves
6'8" Williams- Has taken Odigie under his wing & knows how to make space for jumpers, dunks, & pass outs. Plays like Marlon Maxey. I can't wait to see this kid in the post.

Only 2 kids in question for play next year.
    Archie- Earliest start in January
Stroud- Grades & eligibility in question

We have a while until we see some play next year with no Sr's. Until then, I suggest everyone take a look at Zion Williamson for Duke play. He looks like LeBron his Sr year in high school. They literally don't make shoes to support his athleticism.
