  • He would fit the personnel already here.

  • It'll be the same ol' thing. I don't really like his offensive ideas, they offend me. LOL I'm not into the Option offense. To me it's like Kugs battering the walls concept. I want a free hand coach almost like Prices with passes galore but having something that Price never had, a defense. I want a coach with NEW ideas not the same ol', same ol'. Can you imagine if Price had brought in a good defensive coach to go with his offense? Man, we'd be in high heaven because in many of his games we would have won if only we could keep the other team from scoring as prolifically as us but it always came to who scored the most.

I'm waiting Senter, do let us down.

  • I don't want it either, but the option would be a huge upgrade over Kugler's offense.  I was begging him to at least run the option if he was going to pound it on the ground every down.  That's a whole lot harder to defend than handing off to the RB to run between the tackles every down.

Time to open it up.  Just in the name of all that's holy don't be as predictable as our last 3-4 offensive coordinators!

  • I want to make it clear that I wasn't promoting him.  Just saying he would fit the personnel on and off the field that UTEP has under Kugler's recruiting.

  • I didn't interpret it that way.  it just struck me as ironic to consider that the option would be less predictable than our offense has been under Kugs.
