  • I have to admit that I think we have a team. Maybe a pretty good team. I think they finally are playing defense without sacrificing offense and tired legs to do it. Or maybe they are just hitting the bombs. Anyway, as much as I bitch I figure it is only right to give some credit due.

  • I was only able to watch part of it.  But for the first time in forever they were fun to watch.  They looked like they belonged, they had an offense.  O could get behind this team I think

  • They looked good tonight. Refs were more than rough on UTEP. You expect some home cooking on the road but man, it was called pretty lopsided.

After getting pummeled by UVU and then losing to SJSU, I thought this team was headed for a horrible season but I?ve been impressed with their play since then. Might be a fun season after all. Glad I was way off on my prediction.

  • I had been thinking that we had a team that could fight a good fight against weak teams. We played the Ville straight up. They may not be Kentucky but they aren?t some weak team. We should damned sure be able to scrap with anyone in cusa.
The thing that intrigues me is what I talked about how it seems to be the team he is building and not just assembling. In the period of team assembling.

  • I have to admit they were hitting those threes pretty well. Now, they have to work on their short shots. There's no reason they have to take it under the basket when they get the same number of points 5 feet from it. They missed quite a few easy layups and there's never an excuse for that. High schoolers make those with their eyes closed.

I think we would have won if they didn't screw up those easy shots. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

  • The 5 to 15 foot jumper is a lost art.   OT was a master
