  • My preference is an up and coming young HC, followed by an innovative OC.  Although, could Colorado success be duplicated?

  • Spend the most money for a coach in non cartel and tell him to build a cartel level program here in three years or less. Do it and there?s a million dollar bonus. Must bowl year one, win the bowl year two and conference year three or sooner. This is a complete remake of UTEP athletics. It is a statement that there is a complete redesign of everything!  Winning is what?s cool and UTEP can do legally.  Ain?t cheap though. You get what you buy and there is a sliding scale that is connected to wins. It is marked in dollars. Units of millions.

  • Either 1 or 2 on your list. Eck at Idaho would be a good hire imo. Exciting offense and winning right away.

It's important that our new coach can recruit the portal. Kinne had a year as HC at UIW, very successful. Has a history as OC at other schools with a lot of success. Known to recruit the portal. In his first year at Texas St he has turned a losing program into a winner including beating Baylor.  That shows the right coaching hire makes a huge difference.

We need someone like that that brings an exciting offense and recruits the portal well.

If UTEP's admin doesn't take action to right the ship soon we won't have any fans left. The "crowd" at the LT game was quite the statement by the fans and I hope it wasn't lost on Sentrr or Wilson.

  • All I want is a coach that knows what he's doing and a QB that can run the team like he knows what he's doing.

I tell you, that kid from Enemas U. will kick our S backwards and forwards. He has talent, much more than Hardison. Why does a school like Enemas U. able to get someone like him and our coaches (and I say that lightly) can't. I'm tired of losing guys. Sometimes I follow the games only because I'm a diehard but it sure is upsetting that we can win against good competition. Heck, we almost lost to an FCS team and only because we wore them out. I can name a few in Cusa that have bright futures. I'm sure there are dozens of QBs that were recruited by Cartel schools and are down because they know that they'll be relegated to the bench and would be ecstatic to play instead of being there. Why can't we get one, at least one? *sigh and sniff*
