When I saw that I was second in the OPT I was hoping that I might be closer to the second spot but to my surprise I'm back in the game. My slump seems to be over...I hope. I think that its because I stopped predicting with my heart and started predicting with my head. I love my Miners but until they learn to shoot those easy free throws they're gonna be on the outside looking in. Sometimes coaches might be great at the Xs and Os but they have no common sense at all.
Let me wax eloquent, ha, ha, I don't know if I even used that right but here goes. Why is it that the ladies basketball team is always able to make their free throws even if they're shorter than those skyscraper men's team? So my advice to Coach Golding is to get a lady basketballer who played the game and had a high free throw shooting percentage and make her an assistant to TEACH THESE DUMB S'es to shoot those free throws. That would be her only job. If the Miners can shoot 75% of their FTs every game they can be in all of them and maybe even win some because of it. She could prove her worth as soon as she started the teaching.
