UTEP to make MAJOR announcement Dec 1st at 10am

    • They are saying it will have a MAJOR impact on the region. Maybe a Law school? Medical school?

    • They're replacing Dismal? That would make a major impact.  ;)

    Wish it was that but no. They announced a $25M gift from the Hunt family for the college of business and are saying it will make UTEP the leader in business on the border.

    I'd rather have new fb coaches, new conference, refurbish all athletic facilities, etc. It would take a lot more than $25M for all that.

    • Honestly it's probably for the best.  UTEP is much more effective academically than athletically.  Our athletics department tends to flush money down the drain

    That's good but how many schools are in the border and which ones are they referring to?
