As I previously said, I'm done watching Dimel ball and didn't watch this one, thank goodness.
I see we got 54 total yards rushing. I guess Dimel is being influenced by Aaron Price in his play calling.
Last year people were complaining that Dimel wouldn't open the offense up, and I thought he wanted to but couldn't rely on his QB in an open offense. This year he's committed 100% to passing all the time. I now think he just has no clue
To get me back (not that anyone cares):
1. Let Senter go. He has obviously contributed nothing positive.
2. Hire a hungry up and coming AD either from a smaller school or a highly regarded assistant who
a) has a history with similar schools -- not private with a committed alumni base (Senter was a dumb hire)
b) commit to football success, fundraising and community outreach with relentless focus.
3. Commit to paying what it takes to get quality coaching staffs
a) Coaching candidates must have been a head coach with a good track record of success
b) Head coaches manage the program, they are not coordinators
I'd be open to hiring the entire NDSU coaching staff. They are more competitive against FBS schools than we are and would kick our asses tomorrow.
