I was happy o see El Paso's homeboy Coach Lopez representing the Eastwood Troopers and El Paso so well last night. The Troopers were a very tough bunch who fought hard the entire game. I wanted to somehow tell the players that when I was covering the Miners practices and going to every game when Julio was here, that no one was tougher than Lopez. I used to figure games didn't really get going right until he had gone across the middle only to be sandwiched by a couple two or three linebackers at full speed from which he would be the first one up. Talk about El Paso Strong, boy buddy he was a perfect fit!
