  • This game will give the Miners to test the new guys better because, well, they are second string and will be compatible with Eastern. Let the starting nine start the game in the first half and then hand the remainders to Eastern in the second half. You know like the NFL does in preseason.

    UTEP     81

    Eastern Nuevo Mejico   46

  • I Roughnecked out of Hobbs, NM and my wife is from there.  As a matter of fact, her Masters is from ENMU.  Hobbs was for many years the town of NM state basketball champions.  Ralph Tasker Arena named after the legendary Ralph Tasker was almost always the Coach of the NM State Champions of basketball.  He in NM HS's equivalent of Don Haskins.  Don't underestimate the team they will put on the floor.  I understand that we are UTEP and have a talented group, but I'm just saying, these guys can ball.

    75 65 UTEP

  • ENM is giving UTEP a game. I guess if Evansville can beat no.1 Kentucky we can lose too. Maybe this will humble the Miners and show them not to take anyone for granted. I just hope we're not upset tonight. sigh

  • Final score; Miners 71-Eastern NM 57

Too close for comfort. You were right Ky, I think they read your post. You fired them up. Grrrrrr!   ;D

I believe Chans won this one. Congrats Chanson.

Your turn to start the next OPT, but I'll wait for Austin to tell you, he might get mad at me for my insolence.

  • I like that we defensively kept them under 60 points.  I still believe in defense winning championships.
