So, I was reading Bill Knights column about how Jojo wants to be a Miner coach.
1st of all, the kid made others around him look good, because he did all the hard stuff that didn't look flashy when he played here.
2nd, with his 6'9" frame, he lasted 17yrs in the Pro's over seas while maintaining the mark of best rebounder.
It would be in Coach Terry's best interest to hire the guy. Why, because his foundation of rebounding is solid and this team needs his expertise on it? Also, he wants to be here and push his passion to current & future Miners.
The Miners need to move away from living in the past and usher in a new age of basketball. Garcia looks to be that link to getting there while his image will satisfy those who can't let go.
The Miners made history by bringing something new to the world. We have side tracked from that and I hope coach Terry can bring it back.
