    CTF is in Tuscaloosa AL now. I am cutting and pasting from Verbal Commits, but it just goes to show how busy they are.


    •7/24/2017 - 2018 SG Jared Sherfield (6-4, 160, 2★) has received an offer from UTEP.
    •7/24/2017 - 2018 SG Payton Moore (6-4, 175, 3.3★) has received an offer from UTEP.
    •7/24/2017 - 2018 PF Mehkel Harvey (6-8, 200, 2★) has received an offer from UTEP. - Per Link
    •7/23/2017 - 2018 PF Jayden Gardner (6-7, 230, 2★) has received an offer from UTEP.
    •7/22/2017 - 2018 SG Nelson Phillips (6-4, 175, 2★) has received an offer from UTEP. - Per Link
    •7/20/2017 - 2018 PG Xavier Castañeda (6-0, 170, 3★) has received an offer from UTEP. - Per Link

    Scout gave Payton Moore a 4★. I'm not seeing any tall kids, but 1 meaty 6'7" 230lb kid from North Carolina. It looks like CTF is looking at nothing but under the radar talent. I'm thinking he learned his lesson on some of these 4★ and 5★ risks. I also see he is really interested in those 2 and 3 positions. No real height, but hopefully some great talent.

    CTF is a master at getting kids to commit early. I think we should take bets on how many early verbal commits CTF gets. I'm betting 5. We are only losing 3, but I'm guessing a few kids will be a combo of busts, get home sick, or think they should go over seas to make money now.

    Also, CTF is looking for kids all over the map. Cali, Illinois, North Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Alaska, Texas, & Wisconsin. It looks like his Mexico & Canadian ties are on hold.

    • mid-size 2s and 3s with motors that never stop is how he built his programs at New Orleans and Iowa State.  At USC he could go after the hot shots.  He may have now realized he needs to go back to how he built his career because he is at that type of school.
