I really don't enjoy being a pessimist but there is a reason we have to load up on quarterbacks. There are the running back quarterbacks and there are the "passing" quarterbacks. The predictability when they are used is key here. Meaning the opposing defenses all know exactly who to key on when a running quarterback is put in, like he's going to pass unless it is already too late and then he just becomes a target for abuse, or the passing quarterback who is in the exact same position as the running quarterback. Both of them are put in positions that are literally dangerous to their health. Metz has already suffered too many times of having his bell rung, and Leftwitch's dad
I really question his good sense. Quarterbacks are always an endangered species in this system as long as other teams are able to get the lead by scoring easily on the Miners' defense. If that has not changed, the offense will very slowly, methodically dig itself a nice hole for three quarters and then put poor bastards in impossible situations trying to dig their way out.
