I didn't watch or listen. I don't know how much of the OL is Dimel's and how much CSW? IDK if coach even evaluated Dimel players. I think he thought a) get rid of players with a losing mentality, and b) better to have FCS players that know the system than FBS players learning the system. Thougth being that was best option until his #1 recruiting class was the starters and winning? Obviosly not working out for him but may not have been unreasonable.
I've been giving it some thought and I think success all comes down to NIL I think tell all the boosters to donate like crazy to NIL for football only to bring in 3 star line and 4 star position players. Win games, win bowls, and the program will make its own money.
I still like my idea of going to UT and telling them we 100% commit to running their O and D schemes if they will tell their donors to give our NIL enough to be a farm team.
