    • In my second profession, I'm a high school math teacher.  At the beginning of the school year, teachers decorated their classroom doors with the alma mater theme.  I put pictures of the campus and 50 year anniversary pictures of 1966's National Championship.  Students are always comparing the 1966 photos to the 2016 photo of the team.  While other teachers took their decorations down, I've kept my up because students are still interested in it.   8)

    • A friend of mine is a teacher and a coach at a High School in the Dallas area.  His school apparently must have had the same type of Alma mater door event.  Since UTEP is his Alma mater as well, he decorated his door with some UTEP stuff.  After he did that, he found out that two of his students were born in El Paso.  He said that one those students even brought some additional UTEP stuff from her house to add to the door design.  I thought that was pretty cool.
