  • It is actually. The homeless team got a home. Right next door to UTEP. There will be some who are interested in that just to see how that goes. A curiosity having little to do with football. This is why we always get ditched. Playing them is a no-win proposition. Winning means nothing. And losing would seal our doom. When they get a chance to win some games out of conference instead of being practice dummies for power teams, they will have a chance to move up. But not at our expense.

  • I agree Ky, playing them for conference does nothing for us. But, but, but, there was no choice. It's like Adam and Eve, when she screwed Adam over with the old line, "if you loved me you'd try it"...and it was downhill all the way, because poor Adam didn't have any other woman to choose from, he had the nag for forever. Same thing with Enemas U. there weren't any other options as to other schools so we swallowed our spit and asked them into the conference.

But, the last part I don't agree. If this school (Enemas U.) can't even muster 15k for the season and they're in a small town there's no way they'd get chosen over us...fingers crossed. Weirder things have happened, look at Charlotte getting invited to the ACK. They don't bring Schiff into the equation and yet the got lucky.

  • Yeah, what I meant was in general terms-not in conference terms. I was trying to say that having a conference means they don't just have to line up for weekly ass kickings from some cartel team.  They can play a few and make some money and then take shots at normal teams or worse.  NMSU will win some games in the upcoming cusa.  Winning a few games here and there will allow them to get off the bottom spot and start a climb up from worst.

  • It's time for my annual post that only I care about (and maybe Lieb for the math geekiness).
