    • Somehow I missed this from College Football News.  is there hope for special teams?


    UTEP Miners: Key Transfer

    WR/KR Marcus Bellon, Soph.
    UTEP was awful in the return game. It averaged just 5.4 yards per punt return, and was among the worst in America in kickoff returns averaging 17.4 yards per try.

    Enter Bellon, a transfer from Santa Barbara CC who averaged 21.7 yards per punt return and 32 yards per kickoff return. A receiver, he?ll be used as a dangerous playmaker on offense, too.

    • Finally, there's light at the end of the tunnel. I can't remember a time when we were so bad in that department. Let's hope for the best that this guy comes through and at least doubles what we had last year. I'm hoping for quadrupling those stats from last year. Afterall, like when you have the worst anything is an improvement.

    I can't wait, one more month. Will the game be televised if we sell out?

    By the way, how many have we sold for the opener?
