That is a huge step forward.  They played Army even for the first half and then lost their starting quarterback.  But, they played with life and looked like they belonged on the same field.  Good job!

Actually, I was a bit disappointed. I wanted a shellacking to remove any doubt about getting rid of the coach. Now I don't think that's in the cards he'll remain until the end of the season and who knows if not more. Tsk, too bad. I want that coach gone and gotten a real one.

Players are out there playing hard. Coaching sucks ass. Defense, can't stop the run... EVER. And Kugler has the nerve to say the coaches did well. WTF! I almost wanted another blow out, but I feel for the players... They will be a good group to coach next year. I just hope, it's nothing to do with Kugler ball.

I am of the opinion that you often times have to take a step back before you can progress.  That means I was hoping the team would get beat by 50 again so we could finally put an end to Kuglar football.

The first half was great to watch.  And  then Army came out of the half with major adjustments while UTEP did nada.

Did everyone catch Kugler's comment at the start of the second half?  When asked if he would pass more, he said, "I hope not."

Yeah.  Of course, watching Greenlee try to pass was a bit cringeworthy at times.

Agree to disagree. Our defense is still bad & we can't catch. Wadley made me smile a little bit, but in no way did I get excited. Not even after the 1st half. I knew "IT" was coming.

Greenlee has absolutely no escapability which causes him to take more sacks than he should. The offensive scheme doesn't help either, of course.
