Yes. Hardison played one of his best games as a Miner. It appeared to me he took a little heat off the ball and had better accuracy and touch. Sometimes a little too soft, but OK. Goal for next year -- don't lock in on your target receiver and go through your progressions.
Dimel called the best game he's called, even if he did call his obligatory wildcat in the redzone for a loss of 3 yards. Obviously it helps when your QB is making good passes, but the emphasis on shorter quicker routes was an important change.
They had adversity and overcame it, which is a wonderful thing to see in UTEP football.
UTEP D is good, but usually only mediocre till halftime when they make better adjustments than the other team. They they dominate. Dimel has to learn, and maybe he finally has, that he needs to outscore the opposition in the first half, get up by more than one score, and then he can go into clock eating. It's not a good plan to do it the other way around.
