    • Listening to UTEP game. Offense looks to be on, but once again, the Miners cant defend. Pretty embarrassing.

    • My last post was just before the half. Witnessing our defense, I doubt we win another game. UTSA basically showed how to stop our offense & exposed the defense. UTSA is a less than OK team & they made us look like we didnt belong.
    My question is, how does the Miners have about 3wks off, yet have a ton of kids hurt?
    Yet another year of shit. I hope Wilson comes down hard on the AD & coaches when all is said and done this year.

    • Won?t happen. This year just about everyone gets a pass. With no revenue there are no funds to pay off any money we would owe Dimel or Senter. That doesn?t  mean they couldn?t replace the Offensive Coordinator but Dimel has to let them call the actual plays.

    • I've been really  busy and no time to chime in.
    my assessment really hasn't changed.  We are a bad team in a bad conference.  But we are no longer the worst team in the country.

    Dimel has upgraded talent somewhat.  In a few positions, significantly.
    DC is decent
    QB is serviceable, but needs serious technique coaching. 
    Dimel coaching skills questionable at best.  Needs a legit OC and then HC focus on recruiting and team and gametime management.   To be fair, it had to be really difficult to recruit to UTEP as it was left by Kug.  Maybe having won a couple games this year will make that a little easier.

    He isn't getting fired after this season.  But is it too much to ask for a new OC?
