  • Play the freshman QB.  This game is winnable, but not with either of these jokers.

  • Locksley has a qbr of -200!  He has thrown two passes and been intercepted twice.  I just really do not understand.  UTEP really could have won this game.  Maybe they will.  Who knows what the coaches have up their sleeves!

  • He has basically singlehandedly cost us this game.  It's really frustrating, but why should I expect anything else from UTEP

  • I'm at the Loco's game & so happy I decided not to go see the Miners.

He isn't the one that put him in.  That was Dimwit Dimel!  What the fuck is the matter with him.  Senter should bench Dimel  Maybe we can't stop paying his ass but we don't have to let him keep sending Locksley in to throw interceptions!  What coach lets his qb come in and throw 2 passes for 2 interceptions and still keeps playing him.  He has 6 other quarterbacks!  I know that Locksley is quite the fine fellow and we are all about social justice and all, but putting that aside, what about his ability to play quarterback.  The Damned Head Coach must have some reason for putting him in to lose games.  I wish I knew why.

  • I don't know what these kids are being coached, but as far as I can tell, it's nothing winnable.

I am back to wondering who is making him (Dimel) do it!  I mean why in the fuck would he pull Jones and put Locksley in.  But he did it again as soon as Locksley could throw an interception.  THEN DID  IT AGAIN!  I am looking for Dimwit's comments after the game and can't find them.  I am waiting for someone, anyone to ask Senter what he thinks of Dimel's insistence on playing Locksley.

  • Did you miss Jones' injury?  His left arm was hurt when they put Locksley back in.  Near the end he put Jones back in when it was obvious we needed a passing game, but he was clearly in pain, and further injured it when he was sacked.

Now why Locksley was put in and not one of the other QBs, that's the big question to me.

  • I didn't miss it.  But Dimel pulled Jones when he was fine.  He said after the game that he had determined to put Locksley in before the game ever started.  And there are FIVE other quarterbacks standing on the sidelines.  Are they so bad that an interception machine with a record of 1-12 or 13 is better than them?  If that is the case that should be the next question.  How can 5 quarterbacks all be so bad that the interception machine is better.  They can't run?  Fuck!  Great answer!  I don't know, but Dimel said after the game that he was always going to play Locksley-Not because Jones was hurt.

Jones was hurt probably because Locksley's interceptions had put the Miners in the hole again and making the quarterback a target as had been the case for years.  Metz.  Concussions from being put in the position to have defenses just ears pinned back destroying UTEP QB's.  Had Jones not been jerked to put Locksley in to mix things up Jones may have never been hurt.

This might be it.  A QB that can run might be more important to him than a QB that can pass.
    We can't have that.

  • It is the nightmare that never ends.  What drives me nuts is that shouldn't one or two of the five other quarterbacks have been recruited for their running?  Please tell me that the other quarterbacks can actually pass and that is why they aren't being played.  The fact that their aren't a couple that can run as well as Locksley AND avoid making their first two completions to another team is pretty scary.  But if they can actually pass, maybe the cupboard won't be bare when someone gets tired of what has gone on for the past few years.  Less than 10k paid attendance.  I really don't know how the AD can accept that-and yet, we have just upgraded to fine furnishings for the upper-crusters to watch whatever it is.  Are those people enemies of UTEP?  Roman Meal bread wrappers will be too much to pay to go be humiliated.
