That is always a problem with commuter schools. In regards to El Paso, It is hard to expect a student to commit to a sport culture they are not used to. However, it is up to the powers that be acclimate any student to a wonderful US sport tradition. We all know that sports is not a part of Natalicio's top 5. It is what it is, so in this case we wait. We wait until she is vacates her position. About a year ago, the UT system has given Natalicio pressure to begin the process in hanging it up. She will be given a lot of leeway (time) to get out, because of her contributions and unique history with her position. A new president will not get sports going right away, but should understand the revenue aspect of sports (especially football).
So... Once again. We must wait. Until then, it is up to the coaches to win and pack those stadiums up. Price was able to do it his 1st 3 years and boosted his pay. We have seen it in El Paso that it is possible to fill up the stadiums. If you win, they will come.
