  • All are 2☆ prospects and all look like highschoolers according to Verbal Commits. If anyone has info on anyone, please post info.

Quincy McGriff 6'5" SG 2020 from Cali
Kansas St, UTSA, & UC Riverside interested

    Braxton Meah 7' C 2020 from Vegas
Clemson, AZ St, & Fresno St interested

Brandon Talbot 6'3" SG 2020 from Canada
    Only UTEP interested

Israel Silva 6'4" PG 2021 from Cali
    Utah, & UC Davis interested

All are for sure under the radar and I really don't know how any of them play.

  • Khalen "K.K." Robinson was offered on April 28. 6 foot PG from Little Rock AR. Apparently lit it up at a Nike EYBL tournament last week. Offers from Oral Roberts, and Southern Miss. However Ok State and Clemson have now shown interest.

  • I just checked Verbal Commits again & there are a total of 9 recruits for 2020 & 2021. 6 from AZ, 2 from CA, & 1 from Canada. All 2☆ under the radar recruits. I looked more at 7' Meah & he has pretty good footwork for a tall man.

  • From what I saw he was just Meah.   ::)   I watched some of his game highlights.  Basically to me he looked like a kid that could be the next Cedric Lang.  This kid has the potential to be really big and strong if he eats and works out hard.  But he didn't look exceptionally athletic to me.  His rebounds were due to being so much bigger than his competition, and so were his scores.  I think he'd get owned by a comparable sized athletic kid.  I didn't see any footwork in the videos I watched.

Maybe I watched the wrong videos, but he looked like a project to me.  The potential upside is there, but not guaranteed.  Like a lot of big kids from small schools, he has not learned how to use his body against others.  On the other hand, if he is getting legit interest from Clemson, Az St, and Frenso, then maybe I am missing something.  I would take another Ced.

  • I agree all these kids are projects. Hence the 2☆ label. Meah is no where close Ced's girth, but I saw a video that showed him stopping on a dime & redirecting. Big men have issues with that unless you are Odigie.
Anyway, with the talent Terry already has, I'm pretty sure he knows what he is doing. After all, Texas Tech was able to get to the final with 2☆ transfers & JUCO players.

Chnage- my bad fellas. I was looking at another light skinned kid & not Meah. No footwork. Like Sisy said, he really does have a lot of upside that a year of D1 play will change.
