    • For all the dislike I have about the goat herders I can not not give them their congratulations, (hey, it's Christmas). They took it to the Jayhawks at their place and they're no.2 in the nation. What I wonder though is if Enemas U. is that good and then the Miners almost had the game against them at our place and we lost by 4 to them what does it say about our NEW team?

    Does it mean that the game was a fluke or does it mean that we're coming into our own and WILL contend for the Cusa title? I don't know, I mean, I do pretty good on the OPTs but I wonder how good I am in predicting the season for the Miners.

    I'm going out on the limb here and say that WE WILL WIN THE CONFERENCE TITLE AND GO TO THE DANCE. I think the season is long and all those games will prepare this team to vie for the championship title in the playoffs.

    • I agree.  I saw it against unm and then the nmsu and Marquette games.  I agree about this team ripping CUSA a new asshole.  I think oncde they really come together, this team has pretty much limitless potential.

    • It was also a bad match up for Kansas. It would have been great to see NMSU pull it off.
    I'd like to go back to the Marquette game. I saw our 4☆ guard defend and score on the #1 PG in the country in Markus Howard. Lathon outscored him by 5pts, matched rebounds, & out assisted by 1. Not only did it give him a huge boost in confidence, but Lathon was smack talking Howard to get inside his head.
    It's that kind of activity that is contagious & forces the team to follow suite.

    Plus, it looks like an orange & white rugby ball. I say leave it since this year & last years teams were horrible.

    • So...I'm not sure how many of you were at the game, but for most of the game, the Miners looked like shit. While Lathon & Odigie were pleasant to watch, the team overall had issues communicating & staying focused. The great part to watch was the other team changing offense up, because our defense was doing a good job.
    The last 5 minutes were actually a treat to watch. We were hitting shots, moving the ball, & focused. I actually saw our team understanding that they could outplay their opponent.
    I'm not sure about you guys, but it's been a while since we had a team that smelled blood in the water and knew how to close. Floyd teams couldn't close unless an individual went above & beyond.
    This team seriously has a shot in breaking over 500 this year on 1 terrible Sr, 2 Soph, & the rest Freshmen. No way in Hell would I have thought that in the beginning of the year. This team has the potential of being my favorite squad in the Last 5yrs, because of sheer grit. We shall see.
    I'll give an individual breakdown of each player after Friday's game.

    • You know Ky, I'm not one to gripe but that last pennant on my posts is very hard to read. It's so bad that I can't see for what I won it. Not enough contrast and it's too dark. Oh, and I didn't get my prize either unless you changed your mind which is okay with me. You know it's Christmas and all that and since I was a little boy all I got was a lump of coal in my stocking. Alas, it seems things don't change much because I still get a lump of coal. Sniff.   :'(

    • Sounds like you need to change your Tampon and take a Midol.  The vibrating butt plug is on the way, but in the meantime stick your thumb up your ass and wiggle it really fast.   ;D  I agree that the brain pattern can't be seen and the actual radiant brain is hard to see.  It ain't easy being a graphic artist when you have very limited skills.  As for your prize, if things work out right you will be very lucky and if they don't you still might, but that all is subject to many factors over which I have little control.  Or you could get a lump of coal.  Right now, I am on a tamale making roll, having finished 4 dozen regular and 3 dozen sweet tamales.  I haven't eaten anything but tamales for three days and I am not complaining.

    • Better you than me. I've gotten drafted into the tamale making assembly line and that ain't no picnic. It's good that you're eating a bunch of them maybe that'll put some weight on to that skinny boney bod of yours, and believe me, those tamales will do it. Don't worry about no prize but tell that young whippersnapper that this post is about adults having a heart to heart talk. He says that the site is all he needs but that's because he only has one win and is sour that like the Cowboys can't have 5 wins like I have.

    Sour grapes is how I see it. LOL They say that there's a tradition on New Years Day and that's to eat 12 grapes, one for each month of the coming year. I hope he doesn't get sick from eating a dozen sour grapes. Ha, ha.
