I remember when Utsa would play us and we didn't give it a second thought on whether we would win or not. Now, everyone beats us like an old mule.

I hope Senter learned something from this season and he tries REALLY HARD to find us a good coach that will bring in good players because a good coach that doesn't do that is almost as bad as a bad coach that brings in bad players. I was really up with that kid from Chicago but I realize he can't hit the side of a barn. I also saw that Frazier doesn't see a shot that he doesn't want to take...and miss. Now, as for our 7 footer, I feel for him but he's a scholarship that is just there and has been...just there. With his injuries he hasn't been any kind of producer at all. Every season if it's not the ankle now it's the wrist or whatever.

Senter, please bring us a good coach even if it's only for one season. Look at enemas U. they just replaced the old one that stayed there two (?) years and this new one can run rings around Floyd and Johnson. If you go with Johnson I don't think you'll average 6 thousand for next year as people aren't in the habit of throwing away their hard earned cash no matter how much they love their university. Wins talk, BS and money walk.

Oh another thing, I don't fancy watching our news outlets seeming like they're from Lost Crutches instead of El Paso. If they love these Ugglies so much then they should take their stations to las curses.

Let's face it. We are a team that has coaches that fail to keep up with the way the game has changed. Not just on the court, but off.
On the court: the game is faster with shorter times of possession, kids are more accurate & frequent with the long ball, defense has changed to accommodate, benches are more stacked, game momentum is non existent with official time outs, long usage of video monitoring, etc. I can go on.
Off the court: more school options, Big 5 conference, social media, superior school facilities, coaching pay, getting more with more, other basketball options outside college (over seas & D league), I can also keep going.
My point is our coaches don't know how to keep up. I can't wait until we start looking for other coaches.
