It was interesting to watch what the Miners will aspire to be. Run. A lot. Use the quarterback to run some more. BUT, pass, too. Passes to receivers with a chance to make big plays. Run, but from different angles and with creativity. The Cats had the ball for 35 minutes and the Bruins had it for 25. Now, think of that in terms of the time the defense had to play. I do think we need to have a speedy guy that can make opponents pay for cheating up on the line. I remain convinced that we are much closer to a winning team than a no win season would lead one to believe. I think the energy he will bring to a beat down group of evidently pretty fine young men, their ability to see the offense opened up, and a couple of early wins will maybe even turn the team into a bit of a monster.
