    • Yeah, I really think UTEP may end up in the MWC, even if it is a degraded version of what we had wanted.  I think, as long as UNM is in it, it would make sense to be there. C-USA doesn't really make any sense anymore, geographically.  But then again, do any of the mega-conferences make much sense now, either?
    I also have to agree with Mojo, that crying Bernie did when Notre Dame was announced was one of the most embarrassing and cringeworthy things I've seen a grown man do in public. I don't understand it.

    Bernie can be emotional about the Sun Bowl and when ND is coming, well that?s the crown jewel of cfb for a lot of people. But yeah, cry in private.

    • Utah State has left to join the PAC whatever and UNLV is going to go too. Air Force, Nevada, Wyoming, Hawaii, UNM, and San Jose State will need to add two to remain a conference. I think those think UTEP to the mwc are dreaming. The mwc might invite Liberty University and maybe western Kentucky and leave the dregs of the worst conference in the country even worse.  But the Mac may grab those two first. I am afraid that our latest hc move may have been a horrible move in the eyes of any conference looking for a good team to get.

    • Seems to me that the western based conferences are barely hanging on by a thread.  PAC and MWC both fighting for bare survival.  PAC wins due to availability of west coast media markets.  Yeah, not directly at OSU or WSU but guarantee they will get better media deal than what is likely to be left of the MWC.
