My mother told me if I don?t have something nice to say don?t say anything at all.  So I am just going to tell the truth.

Supposedly the home town faithful turned out to see the new, hopped-up offense and fired up new coaches and offense. Against an FCS opponent. An eighth grader. Fuckin eighth grader was tough and even though we fought him as best we could, he made us say uncle. An eighth grader.
So, we are only two games in and my five or six win season already is looking like we may be trying to find two teams we can beat for our usual two wins season. Not confident at all in finding two we can beat.
For all of those fans who are happy just to have seen a ?fun? game while losing, you people need professional help. The years of abuse have destroyed your sense of right and wrong.

For those of us that believe that winning is the thing that actually matters and that no fans or teams are given trophies or awards for being good sports, we are where we always are.

If we go get FCS coaches we attract FCS players. He brought his FCS level players as his stars. The SUU coach had the better team. That?s the fucking truth. Go get a fine looking yugo because it beats other yugos and Renaults to race fords and chevys what do you think is going to happen?  Well, we tried the old wore out bald tired and beat up old fords and they were just old beat up pigs. Now we are going with the yugo. UTEP!  Wilson talked about football being the school?s front porch. I am not permitted to say what I think about her leadership. And our AD? What a fine job he?s doing don?t you think?
The only thing that could be worse than having ten thousand fans watching us lose boring games is a happy 15 thousand fans happily watching us lose but funly.

Oh, one more thing. Walden?s antics on the sidelines is what you might expect from a punk. Sorry. I said it. You don?t see Div 1 FBS Head Coaches acting like that. Dignity. Professionalism. I?m thinking that the line judge took pity on the young fool and didn?t flag him for his shit. Get the fucking team ready to play and win during the week. No antics. You don?t have to cheer lead a team that is playing well enough to watch them do their jobs. Walden embarrassed himself and the school acting like a clown. You think the SUU coach didn?t feel like his snide remarks were spot on in the end?  Wrong, but Walden didn?t show him. Anyone want to bet that he doesn?t get flagged by a pro ref before the season ends.

I'm still done with UTEP sports.  But since I put the time in to watch the first two embarassments, I'll throw out my thoughts.

This entire philosophy is based on outscoring your opponent.  You'll score in the 30s and hold your opponent to 1 less score.  The D is OK.  Not great, but good enough if the O was doing its job.  Biggest problem with the D is the secondary, who get lost and are undersized.  But if the O was scoring, they're good enough.

So why isn't the O scoring? Main reason -- the offensive line is basically non-existent.  The D is in the backfield nearly every damn play.  Why is that? IDK.  And neither does Walden.  This offensive genius made zero adjustments in two games straight where the defense was literally untouched on a straight path to the backfield.  If he could fix that, he could win some games.

Jim Senter has now gone from hiring old failures near retirement, to two fresh young guys in both football and basketball who had way too many extra shots in their coffee and one good season with a gimmicky strategy that worked once.  Senter has to go before anything will be fixed.

Senter is shopping at the Dollar Store and I figure he is Wilson?s boy. The Head Coach is the fucking front door of the porch. We went out and got a new screen door.   The attitude is that just being there, having the program is enough. Winning is good and losing is ok.  Too much losing forces you to change losers.

One comment they made during the game was that there wasn?t a single senior on the o line. Seems as though all of the bosses Dimel had were now gone.
