When Hardison got hurt and Brownholtz came in, he really sparked the offense. That guy can run so much better than Hardison. The announcers thought he checked out of the 3rd down and 3 play inside the Owl 10 and threw the ball incomplete, setting up the tying fg. The Miners were running well and the Rice defense was gassed so 2 runs to get 3 yards for a 1st and goal would have been the better call. Dimel was visibly upset.
