UTEP's Boum is the pictured star on the website.  I think we have a good chance of winning this.    On another note, the CBI would seem to be a stronger tournament and has MTU and Rice playing in it.

With Mtu in it I don't think Utep can win it. If anything if both go to the finals I think Mtu will get the pot of gold.
There's a whole lot of teams with bad losing records, I don't feel this tourney is that good. It's just like the Tx vs Usa football game that was played in the SB, mostly mediocre players.

But, I guess the Miner team wanted to play in it otherwise coach would have had other plans.

If I understand, we don?t get to keep the gate but will get to keep concessions.  I have been of the opinion we could lower ticket prices and make it back on commission with bigger crowds.

This game may or may not have a large crowd, but win a few and we will just like the ladies did.  Good data point for Senter to see what a larger crowd with cheaper entry does for concessions.  I am a lot more likely to buy a beer or two if I got in for $10 than if I got in for $50
