No way the Miners win even as hard as I wish it. The Dragonflies will take it in their home. I would love to be wrong though and have the Miners win. But, I stopped posting with my heart and started with my feeble brain.

1. My first job as a professor after getting my PhD was at UAB. They did not have a football team at the time. They wanted one, but the folks at Bama would not allow it.
2. They, of course, eventually did a get a team and then folded it. Their starting QB, Jeremiah Briscoe, transferred to SHSU, set all sorts of passing records and won the Walter Payton award two years running. What he could not do, however, was get Sam a national championship.
