Really interesting. A lot that thinks they wlll destroy us, and I admit I give that a 50% chance of happening. Quite a few that seem to be giving us more credit than I think we have really earned.
As you guys know, I still have my skepticals on. I think we look like a team that can play in CUSA --a team in the 75-100 range. BSU is a team in the 40-60 range. My metrics for this game for showing progess is: Score 3 touchdowns, lose by less than 3 touchdowns, hold BSU under 40. Do any of those and we are better than I think and I will reassess the rest of the season in CUSA. Lose by 10 or less, or hold them under 30 and I start drinking the koolaid.
I expect BSU to put at least 9 in the box and force us to either show we can still run on them or that we can air it out. For their offense, I expect them to go airborne and make us prove we can either defend their receivers or get to their QB.
Finally, don't forget the all-important halftime adjustments. Our defense will adjust. Our offense will not. They will adjust on both sides of the ball.
