I very much appreciate your response and am very happy to hear that she is doing well in that. But she was the one that said that the athletics was the front porch of the school. It is what is seen. Football is king of the department. Tell me what the record is under her leadership. Senter should be gone and a real commitment to football should be made before we just win the championship of bad football. We are shopping for our coaches at the b
Big Lots for a deal. Then paying too much for it. She doesn?t seem concerned that I can tell. She has seen a full Sun Bowl and she now watches games with less people in the stands than for the Spring Game under Price. If I didn?t know what was possible I would not be so fucking furious. You know why we had top talent, McDonalds All Americans transferring to UTEP?  Coach. So we went to fcs and we are going to be surprised that it attracts fcs players. It tells players what the priority is at UTEP. I love UTEP and I glad to hear the good. But the fucking front porch is from the dust bowl depression pictures of the Grapes of Wrath. It?s wrong!  And I just watch it go from horrible to worse!

He's definitely only talking about sports, not academics which has been an obvious success.  I certainly haven't seen any evidence she's committed to excellence in sports.  I know you're just throwing out possible reasons, but those affect every single school at our level and we still suck even at our level.

Now if she fires Senter I'd reassess my opinion.

Ky, I usually agree with your takes, and your frustration, but I couldn?t disagree more about your assessment of Dr. Wilson.  I work there now, since retiring from the Army, and believe me, UTEP is night and day different from when Natalicio was there.  I am very happy and proud that Dr. Wilson is there. I guess you?re upset that some of the sports seasons haven?t panned out? I?m really not sure what to tell you about that. We?ve both been following it for many years, and while I?m not sure of the full reason we?ve been snakebitten for so many years, the newest rule changes of NIL and the transfer portal, in my opinion, make it damn near impossible for schools like UTEP to compete.  It has ruined college athletics.  However, I definitely know they have not given up at UTEP and are going to try to make it work.  You?re obviously entitled to your opinion, but I respectfully disagree, even though I share your frustration.  I?m actually very excited for the future, especially headed to the MWC, under Heather Wilson?s leadership.

I am very concerned that the conference heads allowed it. But the fact that it was done secretly does much more than concerns me. They knew it was wrong and tried to do it on the downlow. That is where I want fuckers to go to jail for it. As for the mwc, or whatever it is that they call the schools they are able to cobble together. A group of crappy leftovers is going to be no better than the conference we are in. As a matter of fact, I declare a new rule, you can?t really say anything about the quality of the conference unless you are the usual winner. We, based on our record, are in no position to complain because we are always part of the problem.
The Wilson administration is maybe even worse than Lady Di. Natalicio at least would have liked to see her school succeed if it could while educating the locals. Wilson lacks that concern. She has absolutely no connection to El Paso. She is simply doing a job. She, Senter, the coaches are all just place holders. Not a one of the has a competitive bone in their bodies except Walden. But players watch him and although they may be impressed with his desire, his antics are laughable. Personally I think the other coaches have to be unimpressed with the clown show. When you have our record it isn?t bad refs that are the problem. He and every miners fan should be pulling a Scotty and pitching a fit about our ability to compete. Or lack there of.

For sure it would be easy to stop.  All it would take is an executive order stating that biological men on women's sports is a violation of Title 9 and violators will be prosecuted for civil rights violations.

And I do generally feel sorry for these people as I agree most of them have severe psychological or mental disorders.  It's high time we stopped encouraging and celbrating and started helping.  You don't help someone who thinks he's a walrus by feeding him raw fish.

I'm not fully convinced that the dudes in women's sports really have those issues though.  I think some of them are just opportunists who weren't good enough to compete with the men.  Back in the 80s I was a mediocre 400 runner.  Meaning I would finish around 4th or 5th most of the time in the city.  I just looked and 35 years later -- times are faster now -- and I would have been in the 6A girls finals in Texas, and might have won it.  That's how big a difference there is.

Other comparison, a few years back I did a little TaeKwonDo to stay in shape.  I was one of the lower belts, sparring against a young woman who was a black belt.  I slipped a left jab past her and caught her on the jaw.  It dazed her and sat her down for several minutes.  Mind you, I wasn't even going for power, just to score a point.  There's not a single man of any fitness level or training that little tag would have even distracted.  Women aren't men, even if they are black belts.  It has to stop.
