and other unimportant sports thats it for us. I have to unsubscribe from espn plus. At least the suffering is over and with the basketball team playing on a see saw there weren't too many victories in either sport. Ha, ha, poor mountain west, they took us only because they needed bodies to remain a conference. It sure wasn't because of our outstanding sports teams.

But, all we need to do is find us some good coaches and everything will right itself...and I'm being facetious here. We know how our AD operates, oh, let's not forget our wonderful president who doesn't give a rat's tail about sports. We're doomed people but like an addict who needs his Utep fix I'll again be subscribing to watch us lose some more. We're sick puppies all of us Utep fans, we like to suffer.

For the first time this season I watched a Miner basketball game with either indifference or resignation, maybe both.

LOL, I was telling my sister the exact same thing. She said that I was only watching the game because I was already paying for it through subscription and she's right. I was on the computer at the same time. Those poor guys can't make a one foot shot...something every high school kid excels at. I'll continue watching knowing that they'll lose. Like I said they have a lot of heart and a mediocre skillset.

Agree but going by previous hires by the AD he'll keep him another four years.

I give the Miners an A+ for effort, they have a LOT of heart but a C- for skill, they're not too good. They miss a lot of easy shots under the basket. Time for Golding who recruited them to find another home.

Nah, I've seen Jax and they're good. Utep won't have a chance.

I'm with miw, hoping that with the no.1 recruiting class in cusa will get us a different team. I'm a Utep fan and I'm a realist and know that Utep will always be Utep and we follow them because, well, we're addicted. The football team is like your grandson playing sports, you know they aren't good but you'll still root for them otherwise you're a bad grandparent. We expect the team to suck, I know it's sounds mean but what the heck, if that's what you get year after year why would you expect us to think otherwise. It's sad but it's true.

I saw the schedule and like Ky I don't expect many wins, maybe 3 or 4.
