Yeah, I really think UTEP may end up in the MWC, even if it is a degraded version of what we had wanted.  I think, as long as UNM is in it, it would make sense to be there. C-USA doesn't really make any sense anymore, geographically.  But then again, do any of the mega-conferences make much sense now, either?
I also have to agree with Mojo, that crying Bernie did when Notre Dame was announced was one of the most embarrassing and cringeworthy things I've seen a grown man do in public. I don't understand it.

I mean, I get the disappointment, but I?m still not quite ready to give up on him, yet. I mean, the way this team played this year, did we really think we?d be one win away from a tournament bid at the end? I know I didn?t. The kind of heart it took to do that is instilled by the coach. Also, like Ky said, it?s the horses, not the driver. At least as far as I can tell? Does he need to get some good recruits quickly? Yes. And that is squarely on the coach. However, I?m holding out hope that he?s still trying to navigate this whole NIL situation. I?m still of the opinion it will effectively ruin college sports, but if that?s what we gotta do to compete, then Coach needs to figure it out, quickly. I am cautiously optimistic that he will. I think he?ll get some faster horses (or at least some that can throw it in the ocean from outside.)
