This is the third school in a row that he's left for "personal reasons". Left SMU after complaining that he wasn't getting enough minutes, when in fact, he was getting decent minutes even after coming off an injury. But there have been more issues than just that. SMU still serving sanctions because of him. North Texas couldn't do anything with his attitude either. It's all about him, not the team. Anyone with a track record like that sooner or later has to fit the "coward" label.

If his knee stays healthy, he could be a very good catch. SMU is still serving out sanctions over a Larry Brown regime blunder. I hope Keith will contribute, hopefully as a starter

Tom Mason built up a lot of good contacts and relationships in the Dallas & Houston areas, despite June Jones. Neither Kugler or Stull will allow him to visit any prospects there. The school won't reimburse him for any recruiting trips to those places. Winning is not a priority for football and most other athletic programs at this institution.
