I will say this. The ncaa turning college amateur athletes into semiprofessionals crossed a line for me, as does the money now being just excepted. SMU Death Penalty for what is SOP today? NCAA? Oh, and the ncaa allows men to play women?s sports!! My give a shit has been truly tested and it is fading fast. UTEP seems to have decided that they are not going to play the game and I almost have to ask myself why would they?

I think this topic needs to be moved up. The once proud owners of the National Championship are now equal to and no better than Abilene Christian slap fighting Northern New Mexico. And worse, nobody cares! There was a time when UTEP was relevant. Now? Football is going through the motions of going through the motions. Basically for the sake of going through the motions. Basketball is even worse.
Someone at one time said Wilson was trying. Results? They steam for themselves! And she knows that it makes the university look bad. I see no evidence of any attempt to make the corrections and only see us getting worse.
