Here are my numbers for the Rice-UTEP game, but first: It seems that regardless of Rice's won-loss UTEP has a hard time beating them because we can't guard the Option Attack. Every team that plays the option including Army has our number. So it will be a hard fought game but I think it will come down to defense which we've improved but the offense doesn't put points on the board (on purpose). I think we will extend our losing record this saturday.

The Miners are going to win.  They’re going to win because I will be at the game!  The last UTEP game I saw in person was UTEP/Rice back when the Miners held a 28 point lead with 10 minutes left in the game and then lost by 8.  Karma has been bitchin’ for a long, long, time.  And that time is now.  Well, technically, it’ll be this Saturday. 

Anyway, they’ll win because I no longer have any UTEP apparel to wear, so I’ll wear some orange t-shirt from Sam Houston State, and the Bearkat’s Mojo (see what I did there?) will enable the Miners to carry the day.

Book it.  UTEP’s winning streak starts this week.
