No chance at a winning season with this incompetent fool calling the plays. Expect UTEP to be near the bottom in scoring offense again. If you don?t score you don?t win! Play calling was awful and the worst I have ever seen! Just when you think the play calling can?t get any worse, it does! Why don?t you email the AD and let know how you feel.

It wouldn't do any good I figure. Remember, these two are buddies and all it will accomplish is that Senter would buckle down more in his stubborness and give him additional years with a pay raise for a fabulous job. They both suck much more than Bob Stull and that's saying a lot.
We should all just give up on them...but we can't we are eternal optimists and like Sisyphus working on a useless cause. It hurts so much.

I cannot fathom worse play calling! This was absolutely atrocious! The team still kept us close, but that play calling in the closing minutes proved you can lay the blame squarely on the head coach. 4th and 1, you had two options: 1. kick a field goal for a tie, and due to a freshman kicker, maybe lose or 2. RUN THE BALL! The third option, Pass, should ONLY be used if you have some crazy trick play, or something up your sleeve. What in the ever-living hell that is Miner fandom was that??? Unbelievable! And it wasn't just that drive... Look at the drive just before that, where it was 1st and 10, and they RUN.... then it was 2nd and long, and they RUN... Now, it's 3rd and short, and what do you do? PASS?!? SERIOUSLY?!?! Good lord. It was to the point where we kept praying that they would not do EXACTLY what we knew they'd do on the next play, which was of course, the DUMBEST thing possible.
If you were to write a textbook for a football class, this game would have been the chapter that shows you what plays NOT to run in every situation. Good lord. >:(
After witnessing that, my preseason assessment of this year's Miners is definitely wrong.
Ugh. This was horrendous.

Just adding one final thought. There's no rule that you HAVE to run the ball every first down. Gee, first and 10, Hankins in the game, wonder what the play is going to be?

He came out in the news defending his call. Coaches are like politicians, full of Schiff. They'll always push the narrative in their favor.
